Of the many first party titles the Xbox Series X/S has confirmed to be in development, very few have turned heads the way Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 has, and it seems Ninja Theory might be gearing up to grab headlines with the highly anticipated sequel once again.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was recently rated in Australia, receiving an R18+ rating. The classification was published on October 11, as per its page on the Australian Classifications Board website. With The Game Awards scheduled for December 7, the timing of a fresh rating for the game might potentially indicate that it will be receiving a new trailer soon.
Interestingly enough, Microsoft is teasing “important announces” and “Xbox news that you won’t want to miss” for the event, which, as you might expect, has sparked widespread speculation about whether Hellblade 2 will be taking the stage at the show.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was officially handed a 2024 release window earlier this year, with Xbox’s Matt Booty recently suggesting that the game would launch “later” in the year.
