Diablo 4’s Gauntlet and Leaderboards Go Live on March 5th

After initially facing a delay, Diablo 4’s long-awaited Gauntlet and Leaderboards will go live on March 5th as part of Season of the Construct. As a weekly fixed dungeon, players compete to earn the highest scores, with separate Leaderboards for different classes, parties, and Standard and Hardcore players. The Gauntlet is available after you gain access to World Tier 4 in Gea Kul. Monsters are higher than level 100, and players have eight minutes to earn a high score, displayed as Proofs of Might. Pillars help in that regard by either adding score multipliers or respawning enemies to kill again. You can also activate Shrines from dead bosses to boost your power further. While respawning is available upon death, and though a third of your score is reduced, you can return to your death site and recover the Proofs of Might. Cities: Skylines 2’s Post-Launch Content Roadmap Revealed, First DLC Planned for Q1 2024

Developer Colossal Order has revealed its roadmap for post-launch content for Cities: Skylines 2, also announcing that it is delaying the game’s DLC to 2024. The release roadmap reveals that the first piece of DLC for the game, the Beach Properties Asset Pack, is planned for release in Q1 2024. CEO Mariina Hallikainen has expanded on the studio’s decision to push back DLC for the game, instead focusing on releasing updates that improve the game’s performance, as well as prioritise development on the game’s mods editor. Hallikainen states on the studio’s official forums that the current development priorities are, in order, performance improvements, bug fixing, and modding support. Hallikainen also states that, once the PC version is where the studio wants it to be, development will then be focused on the console release and DLC for Cities: Skylines 2. Helldivers 2 Will “Probably” Add Cross-Progression “Sometime in the Future”

The level of success that Helldivers 2 is enjoying has been as surprising for us to see as it has been for the people who made it, and given how popular the shooter has proven, it’s no surprise that developer Arrowhead Game Studios is pivoting to much more ambitious post-launch plans. An entirely new roadmap is in the works, with free new content like enemies, biomes, objectives, and story updates having been previously promised. On top of that, as you may have guessed, you can also probably expect some smaller scale but no less crucial updates in terms of new features- like cross-saves and cross-progression (but certainly not PvP). Upon being asked on Twitter about whether Helldivers 2 will be adding cross-play, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt said that though that wasn’t originally the plan, given the massive and unexpected influx of players, a “significant” portion of it wants cross-progression, it’s likely that the feature eventually ends up being added to the game.
