UPDATE: The video, which seems to have been published prematurely, has been set to private since this story was published.
Original story follows:
Supermassive Games and Behaviour Interactive are soon set to expand the Dead by Daylight universe with single-player horror adventure title The Casting of Frank Stone, and though we haven’t seen an awful lot of the game in recent weeks and months, with its September release drawing closer, that is beginning to change.
Courtesy of Game Informer, for instance, seven new minutes of gameplay footage have been released, showing one of the playable characters in Officer Sam Green, who heads into the supposedly haunted mill that the game’s story will focus on. Fans of Supermassive’s usual horror adventure titles – from Until Dawn to The Dark Pictures Anthology – will find plenty of familiar elements here, from QTEs to dialogue choices and more. The gameplay footage is, however, curiously light on actual scares. Check it out below.
The Casting of Frank Stone is set to release on September 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will be sold at a price of $39.99.
